The one-year-sum-up meeting of campaign “Vietnamese give priority to use Vietnam goods” was held on 18^th Feb 2011 at International conference Centre -11 Le Hong Phong, Hanoi. Present at the meeting are Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai, Chairman of Vietnam National Front Central Committee cum head of Instruction Committee of the campaign - Mr Huynh Dam and representatives from enterprises, ministries, departments, party committee of central enterprises unit, central administrative offices, consumers representatives, associations of crafts villages and mass media from the central government, Hanoi city and Hochiminh city as well.

Report on the result of the campaign after one year performance was presented by its instruction committee. The conference also concentrated on discussing and finalizing its targets and objectives in the coming time.

The campaign is a proper, necessary and timely policy with deeply political meaning, which has already received the wide public consent. Executive committee of party, authorities, national front, unions, execution bodies, enterprises, consumers and mass media have played an important role in supporting for “Vietnamese give priority to  use Viet Nam goods”

With the positive movement and cosumers’ belief in the quality of local products and services, Vietnamese enterprises have had their opportunities to develop their business, production capacity and prestige as well. More and more Vietnamese products meet the demand for quality, price and taste of the consumers, which help Vietnamese goods to control the domestic market as well as export to the overseas.

The conference sums up its campaign after one year and awarded 18 units including Hanoi Trade Corporaton with certificate from Vietnam national front for their excellent results after carrying out the campaign “Vietnamese give priority to use Vietnam goods” in 2010.

In response to the campaign “Vietnamese give priority to use Vietnam goods”, based on the announcement No. 264 TB/TW dated July 31^st 2009 of Political Bureau and the execution plan of Hanoi city, Hanoi Trade Corporation has deployed its propaganda program of the campaign purposes, frequently launched campaigns, instructed member companies, subsidiary units to use local materials and products, increased the ratio of Vietnamese original goods in retail system to 80% in quantity, concentrated on promoting and marketing Vietnamese goods to the consumers, especially Hapro product brands such as: Hapro Vodka, Thang Long wine, Kuksu instant noodle, instant porridge, noodle, vermicelli, Hapro rice paper, processed food, Hapro safe vegetables and fruits, textlile and garment, handbags, glass, pottery; commercial infrastructure development in Hanoi and other Northern provinces…Hanoi Trade Corporation is a typical business corporation of Hanoi city which launch the program of selling Vietnamese goods in the suburbs: For example, Hapro has sent 59 shipments of Vietnamese goods to 18 districts and precints surrounding Hanoi to serve the people there.

Being awarded for excellent results after carrying out the campaign “Vietnamese give priority to use Vietnamese goods” in 2010 has encourged and promoted Hapro to continue developing and to deploy the campaign in 2011 and in the coming years more effectively.
