BETWEEN VIETNAMESE AND TURKISH COMPANIES

Hapro business delegation led by Mr Vu Thanh Son – General Director – had a business trip to Turky from 7th until 12th Sep 2017.

The delegation participated in the 25th International Food Products & Processing Technologies Exhibition (WorldFood) held in Istanbul from 7th – 10th Sep 2017. Hapro was the only Vietnamese participant having the booth to introduce agricultural products of Vietnam in such biggest Food Exhibition in Turkey

It is known that there were more than 350 Turkish and foreign food companies participating in the Exhibition. Many Turkish importers were interested in Hapro’s agricultural products such as pepper, cashew nuts, cassia, star aniseeds., etc. Thanks to the support and introduction of the Trade Office of Vietnam in Turkey, the delegation paid a visit to some Turkish importers and has achieved fruitful results, some of whom decided to import pepper and cashew nut from Vietnam to Turkey.

On September 11-12, the delegation had a meeting with Turkish leading spices producer – Bagdat Group – Hapro’s longtime partner in Ankara. The two parties discussed the advantages and disadvantages in their business cooperation and plan to expand it in the coming time.

Mr Vu Thanh Son – General Director of Hapro group – considered Turkey a potential market for Vietnamese enterprises to exploit and said that Hapro aims to increase its export turnover to Turkey to US $ 5 million per year ( Hapro’s current export turnover to the Turkish market $ 2 million per year) . Mr. Son expressed his thanks and wishes to continuously receive the support from the Embassy of Vietnam so that  Hapro could carry out its business activities smoothly in Turkey in the near future. On Sep 11th , the delegation visited Vietnamese Embassy in Turkey. At the meeting, Mr Pham Anh Tuan – Vietnamese Ambassador to Turkey – warmly welcomed Hapro’s active promotion for Vietnam’s agricultural products to Turkey. The ambassador also wishes that Hapro will keep on strengthening its business cooperation with the Turkish partners; concentrating that the Vietnamese Embassy in Turkey is always ready to assist Vietnamese enterprises, including Hapro, in introducing and connecting with potential clients.
