BUSINESS ACTIVITIES OF HAPRO IN THE FIRST 8 MONTHS OF 2017

The impact of the general difficulties of the economic situation in Vietnam and the concentration on process of equitization of the Mother company – Hanoi Trade Coporation has affected the results of operation of some companies in Hapro. In the first 6 months of 2017, domestic trade and export of all subsidiaries have decreased compared to the same period of 2016. However, with timely, strictly leadership of the Hapro BOM and the best effort to boost export and develop the domestic market, Hapro’s business results in the last eight months have shown positive signals:

Income: Total income of 8 months in 2017 is estimated at VND 2,703 billion, gained 52.4% of the year plan, of which the Mother company’s revenue is estimated at VND 1,827 billion, gained 50% of the year plan

Export turnover: Export turnover in the 8 months of 2017 is estimated at 64.7 million USD, gained 47.5% of the year plan, of which the export turnover of the Mother company estimated 62 million USD, gained 47% year plan

Pretax profit: estimated at VND23.2 billion, gained 60% of the full year target, of which the Mother company is estimated at VND9.5 billion, gained 79% of the full year target.

About Domestic Trade:

The Corporation has instructed the units to actively participate in trade promotion programs – connecting localities and regions; actively develop the cooperation with enterprises in production and supply of products for the purpose of sourcing and distributing resources and distribution in order to contribute to raising the quality of products and services, increasing competition for the domestic trading system of the Corporation.

About Export – Import Bussiness:

Hapro continues to maintain the traditional markets and also try to develop new customers, new products in such markets as: Africa, Estern Europe area, Singapore; keeping concetrating on stabilizing the production and investment in the factories to actively prepare goods for export. With the aim of boosting export activities, besides to expanding the cooperation with current suppliers in the Corporation, Hapro continues to increase trade promtion activies, market survey in some key markets, with Corporation continues to promote trade promotion activities, market survey in some key markets, with high potential such as Africa and some European countries and Eastern Europe area, etc. too boost export activities as well as seek for sources of imported goods in service of distribution and local consumption
